Serbia's Embassy in Belarus has demanded that the flag leave immediately, and Serbian media have reacted sharply to the move.
Kosovo today starts racing at the Minsk 2019 European Games, where it will be represented by 12 athletes. Before the start of this race, there were tensions in Minsk.
Bogoljub Karic owns the commercial centre “Dana” in Minsk. This is one of the largest shopping centres in the Belarus capital, and photographs show that a Kosovo flag has been deployed there.
Serbia's embassy has demanded that this flag leave that country urgently.
“Ambassador Velko Kovacevic will inform President Alexandre Lukashenko of the flag deployed and will request his immediate evacuation of”, the Serbian Embassy's spokesman in Belarus has said.
Against this Karic act has also strongly reacted to the famous Serbian media medium, Telegram, referring to him as Kosovo's big “patire”.
“Businessmen and the leader of Serbia's Force Movement, Bogoljub Kariq, who represents himself as a major patriot born in Kosovo's Pec, recognises independent Kosovo”, the Serbian newspaper writes.
Kosovo's Grand Patriot has even put Kosovo's flag in front of objects it has abroad, such as the large commercial centre in Belarus, where it sees the flag of a false state he knows”.
