Strange flames are coming from the moon and scientists don't know why.
Parts of the surface are being lit several times over the week, sometimes with rapid flares, and sometimes this is happening for hours. At other times, surface parts are mysteriously engulfed in darkness, writes The Independent, translated Periscope.
Scientists have been unable to understand why these changes are taking place in the light of the moon. This despite the fact that the moon has been observed for decades, and that data has been cataloged in scientific data from 1950 onward.
Scientists refer to them as the moment's lunar “phenomene”. A magazine in 1970 described how the commonly executed “is described as red or pink,” that usually lasted for 20 minutes but on occasion went for hours.
They have given various ideas, such as what they say is that the moon is being hit by meteors or that the solar wind strikes the dust of the moon, or that movement on the moon's surface that releases gases reflecting sunlight on the earth. But there is no accurate explanation for what is happening. /Periscopi
