Aurela, wife of the opposition chairman and the girls Dafina and Victoria had arrived at PD headquarters earlier.
Meta says the right to protest is fundamental and vital rights to democracy.
He has stressed the importance of today's protest by the United Opposition to be completely peaceful, away from any act of violence, as well as urging protesters to refrain from self-resisting and focus on the cause for free and fair elections.
He says he believes that resolving the crisis will come only through dialogue and co-operation, and that he will continue his efforts in this direction indefinitely.
LSI Mayor Monica Mayor has joined the protesters.
“Today Albanians are more determined than ever to join Europe. The protest will be peaceful” is expressed.
