The president of Kosovo's Democratic Youth, Donjet Bislimi, in a writing that deals with liberation and holiday day, has suggested that our 20th anniversary of the liberation, June 12th, the day which symbolizes the sacrifice of generations for freedom of state. There is nothing more sacred than freedom. Even the day it is marked is like”.
Bislimi has also written that “Kosovo is resting for many parties that do not have any national or state surveys, even going to the point of even the days of vacation coming in compensation, if a holiday falls on weekends. That the calendar of official holidays has had to change in the past is an undeniable fact. And it strengthens that yesterday.
Here's Mr. Bislimi:
We had the 20th anniversary of liberation, June 12, the day that symbolizes the sacrifice of generations for freedom and state. There is nothing more sacred than freedom. And the day it is marked is so.
Naturally, the state of Kosovo needs the daily commitment of each of us, especially institutions, to a better future, to realise every vision we have as a state. So every day we work is worth it. But a list of official festivals is not valid when it has dates that are of no national importance and the Day of Deliverance not to be found at all.
And that's not just my opinion, it's a lot of people I've met yesterday and today.
Kosovo is resting for many parties that do not have any national or state surveys, even going to the point that even vacation days that come in compensation if a holiday day falls on weekends.
That the calendar of official holidays has had to change in the past is an undeniable fact. And that strengthens it even yesterday. So, as soon as this calendar changes and removes unnecessary rest days, stops the practice of replacing on weekends, and in no way forget to put the Day of Deliverance on that calendar, as one of the most marked days for our country.
