Mustafa writes on Facebook that on this day so important, the participation of someone from LDK) -- like the country's largest opposition party -- would be inconsistent, despite its health problems.
While Mustafa is proud that the ceremony was held in Skenderbeu Square, the place he says he built while he was mayor of Pristina.
Honored Citizens
I see my non-participation at the 20th anniversary of the country's liberation has become a topic.
I have not attended because I have not received an invitation to this ceremony and no other activity.
I can't tell how the State Protocol worked, whether it had me on the list or not, as LDK chairman, opposition chief, the largest opposition party today and the reformist party over the past thirty years, or as the prime minister of the past government.
At LDK headquarters, I have been informed that invitations have come to several families of LDK martyrs and activists. Not another one.
There is no date more important for each of us than that of Kosovo's liberation. So my participation, or one of the LDK vice-presidents, because of my strategizing reasons, would be indisputable. Deliverance as well as independence is no one's property, achieved, boasted and wealth.
After all, even though I didn't have the invitation to attend this ceremony, I'm proud that she was held in my city's Skenderbeu Square, which we built as diligently as I and LDK were running Pristina, and that's near Skenderbeu monument that, too, we raised after the liberation of money gathered by our fellow countrymen, when we were like the government in the LDK's email. And, that in this solemnity were our friends, heroes of the liberation of Kosovo. IMU, Mustafa said.
While the president's office has clarified that the State Protocol, which has confirmed Mustafa and Kurti were invited.
MPJ State Protocol Director Orhan Hajrizi has confirmed that Isa Mustafa and Albin Kurti have had official invitations.
“Yes, the State Protocol has been taken with the whole organization and also with invitations. In this case I confirm that the invitations are prepared and sent to Mr. Isa Mustafa in the quality of the former prime minister, whom the courier has sent to LDK headquarters and invitations to Mr. Kurti has been sent to the Parliament and via the House's internal mail, the invitation has been forwarded to the Vetvendosje Movement post box on June 7th”, Hayriz said./ P ERISCOPI/
