So said European Integration Minister Litera Hoxha, at a meeting with the chief of the EU Office in Kosovo, Natalia Apostolova, ambassadors of EU countries, Kosovo Government ministers and other representatives, in discussing the 2019 Country Report.
Hoxha named the report as advancing the integration process, whose dynamics she considers should be accelerated.
Minister Hoxha announced that the ministry she heads shortly after the release of the Country Report had taken the necessary steps, identifying all shortcomings, gaps and recommendations of the Country Report by forwarding them to institutions responsible for further and immediate actions. Likewise, Minister Hoxha announced those present for the meeting he had had with Prime Minister Haradinaj in the format of the European Integration Ministerial Council's meeting (KMIE) on June 3rd, 2019, to discuss the findings and recommendations of the Report, as well as their address by all Kosovo institutions.
Furthermore, the Minister of Integration informed those in attendance that the Country Report had reported it to the Parliamentary Commission for European Integration (KPIE), ii), had organised and a media conference to inform citizens of the report's findings, as well as to have organised the regular meeting of the MSA's Justice, Freedom and Security Subcommittee (MSA structures), where it was addressed in detail the achievements and challenges to be addressed in the area of Law and Security Rule in general.
“We plan to hold the monthly meeting of the European Integration Council (KMIE) to monitor the implementation of findings and recommendations stemming from the Country Report”, Minister Hoxha stressed, noting that we are committed to overcoming challenges and difficulties, institutions reflect on the report and come with better co-ordination, co-operation and fixed terms where there is no delays.
All in the end Hoxha expressed her commitment to further dynamising the European Integration Process in all possible directions in order to advance further into this non-alterative process for Kosovo.
