Manchester Unitedi has been forced to wipe out a video on Facebook that presented Kosovo as part of Serbia on the map, following the tough reactions of fans on social networks.
Manchester Unitedi seemed to have forgotten to update the map, as in video interview with its Serbian midfielder, Nemanja Matic, parts of Serbia appeared on Tuesday.
The official page of British giant Manchester United published the video on its official Facebook account to show the interview with Serbian midfielder Matic: “My birth: What does Serbia mean for Matic”.
The “Red Days” were unaware that Serbia's map changed again in 2008, when Kosovo declared independence and was eventually divided by the former secretary.
But, Unitedey's admin has reacted quickly by erasing the video from the club's official Facebook account, following criticism and harsh responses of fans, mainly from Kosovo.
