Kosovo, Albania memorandum of co-operation in area of business registration

The Ministry of Trade and Industry, the Agency for Business Recording, has signed memorandums of co-operation with the National Business Centre of the Republic of Albania.

The signing of the memorandum is for strengthening the relationship of Kosovo and Albania, and will serve for privıllımımımı of economy, promoting innovation and exchange of technology, said Trade and Industry Minister Andrew Shala.

The goal of this Memorandum of Understanding is to establish a flexible and broad-field mechanism for further guidance and co-operation between the Pales in the area of business registration, in line with the two agencies' responsibilities in this area”, Shala said.

According to him, the Ministry of Trade and Industry, or Business Recording Agency, has made several changes, and in February of this year has launched the new electronic platform for online business registration, simplifying procedures and cutting time for businesses.

Kosovo today is one of the countries in Europe that can open business for 24 hours, but we will continue to create even better conditions. Albania for Kosovo is a friendly country and any agreement is welcome and will influence the exchange of experiences, considering that the memorandums should be extended to other areas”, Shala stressed.

I encourage you to continue co-operation as two very important state agencies, and Kosovo and Albania businesses to try to get closer to”, Shala said.

This memorandum envisions 11 areas of co-operation, such as: Exchange of information on legislation in the area of business registration and reflections on its improvement; Exchange of various publications regarding the area of business registration, co-operation in training programmes related to business records; Co-operation in the area of registering businesses and public services, etc.
