Kadri Wessel's emotional confession to the son of a KLA soldier

The leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Kadri Veselin, has confessed to thousands of citizens at the PDK Festival Convention, a significant case of a son of a former KLA soldier who after the end of the war had big dreams, but was forced to leave in exile for better life. Confession [...]
The story of Kadri Wessel:
At this solemn moment, I want to build the message on a confession, convinced that you have heard many of you.
Shortly after the war, a family built a farm because it was determined to work on its own and not depend on the support of the State.
Father and Mother saved money for their children's schooling because they believed that by investing in good education, their children would have the opportunities they deserved and a better future.
It raised them in value of freedom and love of the state. Their oldest son completed his studies at the University of Pristina while working as a waiter to ease their parents ' burden.
But his dream was to work in the financial sector, what he had studied. He applied for work in some countries, in the private and public sector, but opportunities were few, while his students, even with lower grades, were employed in institutions because of their connections.
Depressed, he decided to leave Kosovo and go to Germany. There he found work easily and began a new life. Unfortunately, we all know him from a young man like this. True, our promising young people are leaving our new country because of lack of opportunity and because of corruption and nepotism. Our biggest asset in Kosovo, our young. And, we have to admit, we're risking that after an extraordinary sacrifice, with which we won freedom and state, we lose hope in freedom. Can we let this happen? Can we accept that? No. Never, no.
When we started the freedom struggle, as one of the Kosovo Liberation Army fighters, I strongly believed we would achieve freedom. Freedom that guarantees the development and perspective of our citizens.
Today, 20 years after the glorious victory of that war, I will not allow those values to be put in line. From nobody and nothing. The spirit of sacrifice and solidarity in the Kosovo Liberation Army yesterday must be an example of the struggle for the character of our state today. We have completed the struggle for independence, but have not completed the fight for rule of law for the state as a guarantee of development.
Therefore, today I am here to pledge to you, that just as I have fought for the liberation of Kosovo from Serbia, so I will fight, along with all of you, to free Kosovo from corruption, nepotism and abuse. And we will fulfill our vision of Kosovo with equal opportunities for all, economically strong, without corruption and full international recognition.
