German Deputy Ambassador to the UN Jürgen Schulz called on official Pristina today to lift taxes on Serbian goods, saying it is contrary to integration processes.
He said this fee is contrary to CEFTA's agreement.
We have the Kosovo government to remove the fee against Serbia. These fees are against the CEFTA agreement. They always encourage Serbia to continue activities that oppose negotiations. The new stability for both countries is in the interest of all”, he said.
He also said Berlin is in favour of reconsidering UNMIK's mandate in Kosovo.
Speaking of the incident with Russian UNMIK member, who prevented the Kosovo Police from carrying out its task during the May 28th action in the north against corruption and organised crime, the German diplomat said UNMIK participants should act in accordance with the mandate the mission has.
