A Canadian fertility doctor reportedly used his sperm to conceive at least 11 women, according to an indictment made by some of his former patients.
He also used the wrong sperm to conceive dozens of others for birth during a 44 - year career [from 1970 to 2014].
Bernard Norman Barwini's behavior was described as a terrible “” and “mate any sentence” by the medical regulator of Ontario, which revoted the 80-year-old license yesterday.
A statement read before the committee said that dozens of patients had suffered irreparable damage because of doctor actions.
Two women had indicted the doctor in 2010, having learned that the sperm he had been given was not by the wanted fathers of the children but by Mr. Barwin.
A decade later, an investigation found that over 50 children were born with the wrong sperm. Of these, 11 are believed to be Mr. Barwin. /Periscope
