Today, 20 years after the war, former Canadian soldier Sophie Boisvert Levesque returned to Kosovo, where she was met as heroin by Kosovo children who had physically left behind, though she had never left her spirits. And these kids, they're adults today, but they've never forgotten how Sophie took care of them.
Sophie Boisvert Levesque was a Canadian soldier who served in Kosovo during the last war, yet Kosovo became much more than a war zone, while Kosovars were far more than refugees and persecuted.
