The Bosniak National Council (KKB) is now being addressed at the request of the state bodies of Serbia and Montenegro for the deployment of special status for Sandzak, as a model for resolving the Bosniak and Sandzak issue, Koha.net broadcasts.
The letter noted that establishing special status for Sandzak, on the basis of initiatives for resolving Bosnian status and the status of the Sandzak region, constitutes permanent and sustainable mechanisms that ensure Bosniaks' right to political existence and unhindered social and economic development, while offering equal prospects to all the peoples living there.
Significantly, it is said that the special status for Sandzak, as a territorial political community, guarantees equality and constitutionality for all Sandzak peoples Albanians, Bosniaks, Montenegrins and Serbs, broadcast Koha.net reporting.
The goal of building a free multinational, multi-cultural, multiconfessional and democratic society of equal prospects for all, the Bosniak National Council calls for dialogue and stresses the significance and importance of the irrevocable acceptance of this proposal through this initiative”, Kohanet broadcasts.
