That's how the chairman has declared it. The PSD, Shpend Ahmeti, who says the signatures for the collapse of the government were deposited earlier than two other opposition parties.
Ahmeti in an interview for Kosovo Press, claims he expects with LDK and Vetevendosje to talk about the collapse of the government and government formulas after the elections.
I've discussed it with Mr. Mustafa, I told him that we are interested in opposition co-operation. Our signatures have been deposited much earlier than the LDK and Vetevendosje, but it seems now that the LDK elections have taken priority and that after they are completed. They're saying autumn, autumn, we expect to talk about the collapse of the government and government formulas after elections. So these two are interesting The PSD to postpone our social-democrat programming points”, he added.
The first Social Democrat Party says they are ready as a party to go to the polls. Moreover, he says that they will continue to work even in the coming months to make the best of the elections.
We don't want to be surprised, so we're getting ready and we're still ready, we're going to start more intense discussions over these months. Others seem to have started the campaign, so when those in the government coalition start holding gatherings with citizens who don't usually, then they smell like elections”, he said.
Shpend Ahmeti, who is also co-chairman of the state delegation for talks with Serbia, says this team is constantly working and are ready whenever the dialogue continues.
The “Ide has been that we prepare the platform, the platform has been approved in the Parliament and now there is no need to proceed more details on other topics, because we don't want to give others time to have them before we know what the topics are. So we're ready with research, we're ready with what needs to be done, who will be represented on each team, we've made the platform ready. So, as far as we're concerned, it's up to the meetings that get organized and the dialogue if it goes on. In this situation there is no point in either going on with statements or burning fire to one side or another, so we continue to remain rational, prepared and with the platform that rules out changing borders and the right level of governance in Kosovo”, he said.
He says he expects the Constitutional Court's decision on the dialogue law to be issued soon enough and to clarify everything.
