Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Fatmir Limaj has reacted following the adoption of the resolution on Serb Genocide conducted in Kosovo during the 1998-1999 war.
Limaj has said that despite Kosovo being delayed in this process, however, he says crime never gets old.
He has called on Western countries not to tolerate Serbia denying the crimes committed in Kosovo.
The chairman of the Initiative has said he expects Kosovo's efforts to be backed by the civilized world to whitewash the massacres, as preconditions for moving forward.
Full Limaj Posting:
The Kosovo Assembly, with the initiative of the Parliamentary Group of Social Democrat Initiative and in co-operation with all parliamentary groups, has just voted the resolution on Serbian Genocide conducted in Kosovo during the 1998-1999 war.
Kosovo is eventually returning to itself and is seeking justice for crimes committed by the Serbian state camera. Even though we have been delayed in this process, crime never gets old.
I call on Western countries not to tolerate Serbia to deny the crimes committed, as Serbia's leaders are doing, denying the crimes and massacres of the macabres on the Albanian civilian population.
We expect our efforts to be backed by the civilized world to whitewash the massacres as a prerequisite for moving forward. FL
