Kosovo journalists and artists who will participate in the “Good afternoon festival, Dobar Dan”, have been banned and strictly controlled by Serbian police at the border.
During today, a large number of Kosovo artists and journalists have started to participate in this festival, whose aim is to unite the social and cultural communities of Kosovo and Serbia and to establish a tradition of co-operation, which will contribute to the achievement of a sustainable normalisation of relations between Kosovo and Serbia.
However, they have encountered strict control at the border checkpoint in Merdare.
This festival is organised by Integration (Kosovo), Youth Initiative for Human Rights (Serbia), and Civic Initiative (Serbia), with support from the Kosovar Open Society Foundation (KFOS), the Foundation for Open Society in Serbia, Rockefeller Brothers Fund (RBF), the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports of the Republic of Kosovo.
