Osmani: LDK won't seek Serbian List signatures for government collapse

According to them, they are aiming to get the backing of ruling party deputies.

MP Vjosa Osmani said it would reconfirm 58 signatures collected so far, but said these are only opposition votes.

She said co-operation for the collapse of the government is sought by MPs who are part of the ruling parties.

We're not going to ask for the signatures of the Serbian List, but to have one thing clear, when they enter the Assembly and put the motion in the vote, we can't control the individual deputies' vote, we don't mix the will of the MP, regardless of their ethnicity, regarding the motion we propose... Target, in a positive light, ours are the deputies of power, of the ruling parties which are expressing disagreement with the way it is ruling with Kosovo. If they are serious about those remarks, maybe they won't hesitate three or four of them to give the signatures to have 61”, Osmani said.

She said all who today complain in Serbian List votes have participated in the motion against the LDK government in 2017.

Osmani said they're in the early stage talking about the vote since they're still collecting signatures.

And MP Armend Zemaj said the demand for the collapse of government has been necessary.

He invited MPs to put the motion in the Assembly as soon as possible, and has called for the support of all MPs to oust the Haradinaj government.

Until asked about the national union's idea, recently mentioned by President Hashim Thaci, MEP Osmani said they do not take any president's ideas seriously.

According to her, Thaci has degenerated, regrets, and is undermining the institution he leads.

The reason why he's come out all of a sudden with completely new ideas is to cover up the actions he's been doing in the field to get the idea of changing borders... Let him deal with potatoes being blocked in Albania with all those obstacles has never been taken as prime minister before he comes out and speaks such things. Osmani said that the president's jokes and his non-seriosity should simply be ignored by everyone.

Armendi Zemaj and Vjosa Osmani went to the media conference to talk about the findings in the European Commission report, which days ago surrendered to Kosovo institutions.

Zemaj said the report underlines limited progress in implementing European reforms, and that it is worrying not to implement the Stabilisation and Association Agreement programme.
