Minister Zivic provides support for development of agriculture sector

Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development Minister Dijana Zivic during the day received representatives of the “G Project fund at the meeting The US MITIP FENGHEVIL HEB Bank of London and funds from the US Federal Reserve.

The meeting discussed the possibility of benefiting funds for the agriculture development project, a project drafted by the UKPZHR Deputy Minister Prof. Asoc. Dr. Shut up, Max.

Following the project's publication by Z. Minister Maximi, who takes into himself about 30 areas with the focus of agriculture in which there is a need for support, such as livestock, luxury, laundry, agriculture faculty schools, etc., Minister Zivic expressed her gratitude for this delegation's visit and announced the audience with the support the government is giving to farmers and producers. The minister said there is an increase in production in the country, but also stressed the need the sector has for support. Focusing on this meeting was the need for support in the agricultural land irrigation sector and dam construction.

Italian representatives of this delegation express their will for supporting projects that will have an impact on agriculture development, especially in rural areas.

It is noteworthy that the project representatives in question are conducting procedures with the Kosovo Central Bank for the transfer of tools and then are expected to sign the agreement on implementing projects in question.
