The independent MP and once chairman of the Commission on Term and Immmunity Issues has resigned from the deputy post. His resignation has made it public during the commission's work, which he has immediately interrupted.
Since the start of the session, Commission member Nevenka Stojkovski demanded that the agenda be met at the point of confirming the constitutional violation of the Parliament by Commission chairman on the issue of mandates and immunity Pavle Bogoevski.
Bogoevski applied, saying lifting Gruevski's immunity would be the last process at the helm of this commission. He then changed his mind and decided to immediately interrupt the session and step down from the deputy post.
The commission on issues of mandate and immunity, where it is debated over Nikola Gruevski's mandate, is expected to continue with work, but will be led by Zv. Commission Chairman Snezana Kaleska-Vancheva.
