The Kumanovo Group complaints by the Court of Appeals are considered today

For 33 convicts of the Kumanovo Group in connection with the events of May 9th and May 10th 2015 at the Trimean Quarter, the Court of Appeals in Skopje today will review the complaints. Seven of the group received life sentences -- 13 sentenced to 40 years in prison, 6 people with sentences 20 years, a sentenced to 18 years, two to 14 years, two to 13 years, and two to 12 years.
Four of the accused have been released. The prosecution then sought life imprisonment for the entire group.
On the anniversary of this event a week ago, family members and citizens went out in protest with a request for the release of this group.
At the events of Kumanovo, eight members of the police and 10 members of the Kumanovo group were killed.
Although the case is required to repeat and go into special prosecutor's hands, chief prosecutor Katica Janeva said they do not possess “bomba” over the case.
