Haradinaj congratulated the NDI president on taking office by becoming the institution's third president.
The National Institute for Democracy “has consistently helped Kosovo institutions to strengthen democratic values, inclusion and strengthening legislative supervision from Parliament”, the prime minister's announcement said.
Haradinaj also cited Government priorities at this meeting, until he added that Kosovo stands firmly side with US-led countries of the world and that its aspirations are EU and NATO membership.
As for talks with Serbia, Prime Minister Haradinaj added that Kosovo is ready to continue dialogue, for mutual recognition at the current borders.
The “in this meeting, both sides agreed that the country is marking continued progress in advancing democratic values and stable and inclusive institutions”, the communiqué says.
