Flora Brovina's resignation in the march for survivors of sexual violence is required

The director of the Kosovar Centre for the rehabilitation of Torture Survivors, Feride Rushiti, has condemned the publication of false photography by MP Flora Brovina, who allegedly violated an Albanian woman by Serb forces.

We are gathered here to express deep concern over the publication of the photograph in the Kosovo Assembly. Now it is up to the Parliament to take responsibility for the damage done. We will not allow the publication of a photograph to overturn all the hard work we have done”, she said.

Following proposals that have provided representatives of organisations for survivors of sexual violence during the war in Kosovo, protesters have called for MP Flora Brovina's resignation.
