Court declares Sami Lushtaku innocent in case KEKA

Of those charges that were filed in 2015 in the KEK case, the court has released former KEK Director Arben Djukaj, former head of the Procuring Organisation(OSHP) Hysni Hoxha, Esat Tahiri, Milazim Lushtaku, Driton Prouth of Azem Durak.
In the declared Constitutional Court of Pristina ruling, it has estimated that the accused are innocent, while in the process of two criminal acts of counterfeiting to Esat Tahiri and Milazim Lushtak have been prescribed.
Investigations into the KEK tender had begun on October 5, 2012, and the indictment was established on January 16th 2015.
The accused had also sent the case to the Constitutional Court, which has rejected their request to impose temporary measures on this process.
Former Squirrel Chairman Sami Lushtaku was accused of pushing for abuse of official duty. Esat Tahiri and Milazim Lushtaku were accused of criminal fraud, former procurement director Driton Prusth, former KEK director Arben Djukaj and former head of Protractor Organisation Hysni Hoxha are accused of mishandling the official position. Azem Duraku was accused of inciting abuse.
