The World Bank will continue further support of the agriculture and rural development sector in Kosovo through various agricultural projects. This bank will continue supporting the Ministry of Agriculture even within the framework of the Agriculture and Rural Development Programme.
That is what it was said today at the meeting that MBPHR Minister Dijana Zivic had with the World Bank Office manager in Kosovo, Marco Mantovanelli and senior agriculture specialist Sylvia Mauri.
During this meeting, the ministry's programmes for support of agriculture and rural development in general, as well as for forms of co-operation to further in the area of agriculture.
Minister Zivic thanked the BB manager in Kosovo for the support they have given so far for developing the agriculture sector in Kosovo and stressed that MBPZR is ready to co-operate with the WB in the future for realisation of many other projects.
On the other hand, BB manager Marco Mantovanelli praised the resulting developments in advancing the country's agriculture sector and reaffirmed the World Bank's readiness for further support of the agriculture and rural development sector in Kosovo through concrete projects within the Kosovo Strategy.
