Beka for KTV has confirmed today that there has been a criminal complaint against Krasniqi, and the prosecution filed the indictment on December 11th 2017. He has said that until the time of the murder, they had received no information from the court regarding the case.
“We found that in 2017 there was a criminal record of domestic violence or, rather, of beating between two mates. It ended with a raise in the prosecution on 11 12 2017. The subject is in court”, he said. “We've got no information on the case, because it's dead.
According to him, the Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina is addressing cases of domestic violence as a priority.
Speaking of the Drenas case where a minor was allegedly sexually abused by an educator, a policeman, a lawyer. Beka has confirmed that the case is close to the establishment of the indictment.
Beka has also spoken of prescribing cases with which he said the lack of judges has brought such a situation to the judiciary. He has complained about the small number of prosecutors. He has said that in the prosecution he leads he needs 70 prosecutors, currently there are only 50. Beka has also said that she would prefer profiles even for cases of domestic violence, robbery, cybercrime, but has added that this is impossible because of the small number of prosecutors.
