Minister Shala, Ulcinj chairman agree on increased co-operation in the area of tourism

Minister Shala stressed that the Government of the Republic of Kosovo is working to develop tourism even more so that citizens of the region can come and visit Kosovo.

With the establishment of the Tourism Department, we are creating new tourism development policies in Kosovo, mainly in countries that are known. We are encouraging infrastructure development to create better conditions for tourists coming from countries in the region to see the beauty of our country. I believe and hope that co-operation between Kosovo and Ulcinj will no longer be on a single path, but become a mutual co-operation and create a combined 48x1> tourism, said Minister Shala.

The minister said that during the summer Albanians will visit the Ulcinj coast, but also during autumn and winter, such as Rugova, Brezovica and Prevala, to be visited by the citizens of Ulcinj, so that tourism will have a gradual increase.

The MTI minister also agreed with Ulcinj chairman to eliminate cargo between the two countries to boost Kosovo-Montenegro tourist potential.
