The April 29th meeting will have far more serious exclusiveities than the face of Haradinaj Vuciq. It is expected, under Makron and Merkel's auspices, to propose an agreement between Kosovo and Serbia.
All Western Balkan leaders have been invited to Berlin, while only Kosovo and Serbia will be represented by prime ministers and presidents. Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj and President Hashim Thaci, together with their counterparts Anna Bernabiq and Aleksandar Vuciq, have been invited.
President Trump, in his letters to Thaci and Vucciqi, had told them that the final agreement would be signed by them at the White House. However, France and Germany are setting the road towards the deal.
The November 29th meeting is expected to be German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macro.
Merkel, who has opposed the movement of borders in the Balkans, is personally dealing with the Kosovo issue.
As the newspaper Express receives, a document on which agreement between Kosovo and Serbia will be reached is expected at this meeting.
The agreement will include partition, but will not be the best for Kosovo. It would more likely allow Serbia sovereignty in parts within Kosovo's territory.
The German government has confirmed that the goal of Cancer and French president is stability in the region, separately between Kosovo and Serbia.
“Stability and good developments in the region are of great importance to the Chancellor and president. They aim to discuss the particular challenges the region is facing, in particular for reports between Kosovo and Serbia”, said in response to German Government spokesman.
Meanwhile, the two Kosovo leaders go to Berlin without unified positions. Thaci has today met with Enlargement Commissioner Johannes Hahn, while Haradinaj from the Lipjan Slovia has accused Hahn and Federica Moghrin of losing a year in vain with statements on exchange of territories.
The prime minister's cabinet has been declared at the same pace as the government chief.
Melza Haradinaj, the prime minister's adviser, wrote today that Kosovo has Merkel's full attention at the Berlin meeting, and institutional leaders must unify the position prior to the meeting organised by Makron and Merkel.
“Since now we have the full attention of Chancellor Merkel in the dialogue, which is also the host of the April 29th meeting, it is the last time for institutional leaders, the state delegation, and the Kosovo opposition to agree on a unique stand before the trip to Berlin. Only then will Kosovo be stronger in front of Serbia, and more serious about its international challenges”, she has written.
