Krasniqi: No negotiations without justice for victims of sexual violence during the war

He has called for no negotiations without requiring justice for all these victims.

I don't want to talk about my case anymore, and it's not easy for me to repeat myself. I want to talk about no justice. It has not been easy to seek justice as 17 years old in UNMIK. I am already a member of the KRCT, I am a lawyer not only in Kosovo, but also in the world. I had begged them for support to achieve justice. I'm going to the American Congress in my case. There should not be negotiations without justice for the crimes that have been committed in Kosovo”, she said, broadcast ksp.

She has also mentioned the case of a rebel who has experienced twice the violation by her husband because of what had happened to her by Serb forces.

The director of this organisation, Vasfije's brother, Nafi Krasniqi, said that many representatives of institutions who were missing will also be promised to do so after 20 years.

Valon Murati, a human rights expert, said that a crime and three injustices have been committed against these victims.

“We are living the 20th anniversary of the war, but not yet with one establishing justice for victims of sexual violence. It's a category of victims that justice is being delayed. A crime and three kinds of injustices have been committed against them. Injustice is done within our families, society, and Serbia. With Vasfije's statement and the courage of the family, the truth of these crimes is not only in Kosovo, but in the whole world”, Murati said.
