German politician Serbia and Kosovo: Be serious or never join the EU

The rapporteur for the Western Balkans in the German parliament, Peter Beyer, warned this Sunday that Serbia and Kosovo will be cancelled if they do not show full will for normalising relations, during the Berlin summit, the N1 reports. “We are not talking about concrete plans or conditions, but we are looking for an open conversation, exchange [...]
“We are not talking about concrete plans or conditions, but we are looking for an open conversation, exchange of information and solutions to concrete things that concern the country” said, adding that he hopes Kosovo and Serbia will use the summit constructively.
“Because if we continue this way with no will for progress, the European perspective for both countries will be cancelled” he warned.
Beyer said he hopes that in Berlin the meeting will focus on the issues of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.
The Berlin Summit will be held April 29th, Monday, at the invitation of German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron.
Republika President Hashim Thaci and Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj will attend this meeting from Kosovo. Kosovo representatives will participate with different positions on each other, which could undermine Kosovo's position at the meeting.
The German Chancellor, the first to meet Monday at 4: 00 a.m., will be the prime minister of northern Macedonia, Zoran Zaev, with whom she will hold a brief conversation.
After Macedonian Prime Minister Merkel will meet head-to-face at 16 and 25 with Albania's prime minister, Edi Rama, with whom she will also hold a brief conversation.
After completing these two bilateral meetings, Merkel will hold a meeting only with France's president, Emmanuel Makron, who is also reportedly trying to convince him to be in a line with official Berlin on the idea of correcting the borders between Kosovo and Serbia.
After these meetings with Zaev, Makron's Rama and Makron, Merkel will meet at a working meeting with leaders of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovenia and senior EU representatives who will arrive in Berlin at 17 and 30.
This working meeting will begin with leaders of the Western Balkans at 17 and 45 and will last until 19 and 30. Within that time there will be a work dinner
