Ilir Zeqiri, as a witness in this case, had stated that on the day of the event, he has been working as a taxi driver in the vicinity of the country where Valon Gojuli was killed, which according to the court-declared act happened for revenge motives.

On the other hand, Ilir Zeqiri, who was fatally killed on Monday evening at Skywright, had described the type car “Ford”, ash colour, as seeing him leave the country where police officer Valon Gojuli was killed, on September 29, 2015.
The man before the court, answering the prosecutor's questions to Ayazi Rexha, had said that he remembered that this car saw a person, who had described the age of about forty, bearded and hat, who had once again shot up with a gun.
And the same prosecutor is now investigating another murder. The victim this time is Ilir Zeqiri himself, the taxi driver from the veteran war scene, writes Reporter.net. Contact with him on Tuesday has been impossible.
The Zeqiri was found burned Monday evening, inside his “-type car Passat”, in the village of Skyright.
Tuesday's morning, Kosovo police reported on the case, saying five rounds of firearms have been found at the scene, leading to the case being described as the <x0 serious murder”.
“From the survey of the site and initial investigations conducted by the investigation into the scene were found five weapon shellings. Taking into account the initial findings at the scene and other circumstantial elements, according to the prosecutor of the case, the investigation is under way on suspicion of criminal acts of serious murder. At the order of the prosecutor, the victim's lifeless body has been sent to exhibit”, police point out in its announcement.
The victim, Ilir Zeqiri of the Supreme Squire Garden, in addition to being a war veteran himself, was also the brother of witness Gazmend Zeqiri.
