The residents joined their arms, stood next to each other outside the mosque, while Muslims were performing Friday's prayers at the Kilbynne Mosque in Wellington.
This act of residents came after the terrorist attack, where 50 people died, and dozens of others suffered bodily injuries from the attacker's gun shot, which was immediately arrested.
The organizer of this supportive act, Daniel Kleinsman, said: We want to assure our Muslim brothers and sisters that we are here for them and them. We also want to create ties and relationships so that such an act of terrorism never happens again”.
