Isuf Zeynep from Democracy Plus said municipalities now stand best in publishing documents and contracts.
“This is the second report, in the second half, you can observe how municipalities performed in 2017 and how we have them in 2018, is this where there are some major public procurement reforms, especially in the sense of transparency, we have almost improved in all municipalities because a larger number of document publication has started, including public procurement contracts”, said Zaena.
Director of the Office for Democracy and Governance in U AID, Christina Davis, said that this project has had a good outcome and corruption is thus fought.

USAID and this project provide general assistance and counseling helps these municipalities strengthen capacities and provide transparency and accountability.
