Qalaj says there are attempts at political influence in police

According to him, the departures of many officials from positions held are related to integrity and lack of results. He has certainly talked about the Directorate of Economic Crimes, which, according to him, has not been at the right level.

Qalaj has acknowledged that as an institution, they have a problem with integrity. But he has acknowledged that there are doubts that there may be corruption within the Kosovo Police during the development of tenders. According to him, corruption investigations in the area of procurement currently have five tenders.

Police director has not denied that individuals assigned within the Kosovo Police are linked to interest groups, but that he has said if he finds evidence he will deposit at the Kosovo Police Inspectorate.

Qalaj has not denied the indirect tendencies of people associated with politics to influence the work of the Kosovo Police.
