Petroviq: I was attacked by a Ricallo counselor and another person (Video)

Kosovo Assembly MP Slobodan Petrovic has spoken after the physical attack was made near the Kosovo Assembly facility.

At a media conference from Kuwait, Petrovic has said he was attacked by a former adviser to former Agriculture Minister Nand Rikalo at one of the restaurants in downtown Pristina.

I was a guest in RTK this morning, and I made a few statements about the work of former minister Ricardo, so I'm saying that the person who attacked me was Rikallos Milan Kostic's adviser. He first attacked me with unkind words. I approached him and asked him what it was, took the bottle in his hand, and said I was gonna hit you and break your head. The other person at the table with him approached me and told me that we were going to settle down, and that mess got my phone in my hand, and I got the phone in my hand. He started attacking me with bottles, threatened me and reviled me. And I called the police, and I waited there. The police came too fast. Until the police came he called someone on the phone, then called the deputy police minister from the Serbian List, and he told me that “you'd see him as you x2> He even called MP Slavko Simic, he actually called him on the phone to protect him. When the police arrived, they got his statement, and they escorted him to the police station, and then I called the conference for the media. And what I told you, I'll say in my statement. But what I want to say once again, that there is no party and no head, to force me, and my colleagues, to change our policy, and there is no politics and no one to force me to have conflict with my neighbours, to be beaten or fought, and that such a policy has caused hundreds of thousands of victims. I know we're less and weaker than them. But we're not pulling a millimeter. That way I want to give a message to all of Kosovo. That the Serbian Liberal Party is the longest-lived party in post-war Kosovo, and is a political party that even concrete results. For me and my political party, there are two kinds of people, good and bad. I am the representative of Serbs in the Assembly, and I will defend their interests and engage in their best life”, Rikalo said, Express reports.

However, Petrovic says he's not afraid, and that he can be attacked freely and killed.

They can attack me freely, they can kill me, I'm not the man I fear, and they can't scare me. It's concern for me and my family, and those people who do their best to do their job”, he says.

Petrovic has said that Serbian citizens are now afraid of the people he would have to protect.

I won't let anyone threaten and scare. I know you're scared, so you're scared for a long time, and you're scared of those who should be protecting you. No matter the fragility, we'll fight for values”, he said among other things.
