It was labeled the most hated person in America after it increased the Daraprim drug price, this medicine necessary for fighting HIV, from $13.50 for a pill to $750.
He was sentenced to seven years in prison in 2017 for fraud of security and conspiracy.
Despite being held in federal prison, he is continuing to lead his pharmaceutical company Phoenix AG, which is believed to be worth $3.7 billion when he leaves prison.
Recently, Shkrely was reported to speak with Phoenix AG manager to get company director Kevin Mulley out of work before putting him on hold.
Shkrell's latest writing, a critical writing published in a newspaper, was loaded on his social networks on March 5th.
According to federal prison officials, it's forbidden to possess a phone inside the prison, and such an insult could result in an increase in punishment for another year and add a fine as well.
Despite the $7.4m seizure in assets and the payment of a fine of $750,000 as part of his sentence, it still has a reported $27m budget.
