Through a tweet post, Cakaj says Tuzi taught us a valuable lesson that beyond logos, political beliefs or protagonism, only united can we serve the interests of Albanians.
The most tender “Albanian coalition treatment “for the historical score” writes Cakaj.
The coalition of three Albanian political parties won 16 seats in the local Tuzi Assembly, which numbers 32 seats, while succeeding Montenegrin President Milo Djukanovic's Socialist Party with 10 seats, the 4-nation Bosniak Party and the Social Democrats and Democrats from 1 country.
This preliminary result forces the coalition of Albanian political parties to co-govern with any party of the Montenegrin or Bosnian political spectrum.
Observers praised Sunday's elections in Tuz in quiet Malta, without incidents and democracy.
Local elections for the Tuzi municipality, followed closely by members of the New York Municipal Council, Mark Gjonaj, with representatives of the Albanian diaspora from the United States, were considered very important for the future of Albanians who are majority communities in Malta
