The family account for the accident that took two lives on “B”

About five months ago, the streets of Pristina were blooded when a 20-year-old, driving over the allowed speed hit Lendita Bardhitt Rugova, who could not survive their wounds. The author of this work, Lufty Musaj by means of a ruling by the Founding Court in Pristina, was sentenced to three [...]
The author of this work, Luftim Musaj, by means of a ruling by the Constitutional Court in Pristina, was sentenced to three years and six months in prison, which would pass until being protected in freedom.
The Express newspaper has talked to the families of the deceased who have been declared to be headed to Apel with a request opposing the verdict, meanwhile before the Constitutional Court in Pristina today protest to seek justice in the case.
Two labour colleagues, after having completed a meeting, were hit dead on the “B” road in Pristina as they were crossing the pedestrian country, from 2050-year-old Luftim Musaj, who was driving over 100km an hour, BMW-type car.
The event that ended dramatically, with the death of two pedestrians, has occurred for five months, and today the Constitutional Court ruling in Pristina was handed over.
Musaj was sentenced to prison terms during three years and six months for criminal work “Public Trafficking Reservation”.
He was also counted in his time in custody, and today the arrangement has been interrupted, and the same has been released for freedom.
This court ruling has shocked both families, who are claiming they did not even receive an invitation to go to trial. They are even saying that they will be headed to the Court of Appeals until justice issues a merit sentence for the 20-year-old Lufty Musaj.
In a story about the Gazeta Express, Lendita's brother, Petrit Abdullah, is saying they didn't even hire a lawyer because they believed that in this case they were damaged parties and that the chief would be punished on the basis of the sensitivity of the case.
“Axident on the street “B” occurred when Lendita got out of the office after work at the shopping mall at the circle crossing, the accused came over 100 km per hour, respected the communications sign, and the prosecutor's report, but no one was given a base for the event, explaining he happened the case.
And we've been waiting for justice to speak in this case and no lawyer or anything to expect that the perfect decision will be made, he adds.
On the other hand, it says that they have not even received a written invitation from the Court, the verdict would be made.
It's a 4 March hearing, an act, we haven't received a written invitation from the Court, neither we nor the other family, the prosecutor informed us that the hearing was held at 10 on Monday. We went, present by Florita's family, there was no one at the office, there was a hearing, he pleaded guilty to”, adds, even talking about legal procedures for the defendant, with whom none of the families agreed.
There are some extenuating procedures that neither families agree with their family. We're not anyone waiting for justice, today there was a mid-hour hearing until we made the decision, he said, "Go to the cafe, until we've returned and we've already made the decision. We now have a complaint with a lawyer as a bad party, but that's a horror”, he said.
The brother of the deceased is saying that after only three months of tragedy, the Musa family had gone to reconciliation, but they refused.
Now, we're not in agreement, it's in fact after their sister's three months, it's someone who's come in real apology, but we're not aware that they haven't been present the day of an accident, nor did we have any calls, nor did you listen to them, at least one moral apology isn't right on their side, that's the horror of two lives taken and that only three years is horror”, says Petrit adding that with the same attitude is the man who's feeling.
Meanwhile, for the 23 - year - old girl in the Istog Valley, her family was informed through newspapers about the sentence.
Speaking through tears, her father, Gani Rugova, currently located in Germany, says they did not receive an invitation to the session, praising the decision as scandalous.
I was informed through newspapers that I'm in Germany, half an hour earlier without hearing and they called my friend, I was informed through newspapers. And I appreciate that decision as scandalous as it would better come to kill us as well”, Rugova says, claiming they would complain.
There's gonna be some ice cream. It's not justice, it's taken. Justice has died in Kosovo”, the father of the deceased concludes.
Lufty Musaj has been charged by the prosecution since the day 22.10.18, about 16:10, on B Street. ) near “Royall Mall” in Pristina, driving his <x2-type car > BMW”, violated the Law on Public Traffic, and threatened people's lives by carelessness, so that they did not adjust the speed of the movement and by not giving priority to pedestrians in the country crossing to foot, hit Lendita Abdullah Bardi and Florijet Rugova, and as a result of the injuries now suffered at QUK had changed lives.
Both worked in a real estate company, and they were shot dead a few meters from the workplace.
To challenge that decision, today before the Constitutional Court in Pristina will protest.
“Civil Society organises peaceful protest to reject the unjust ruling of the Constitutional Court in Pristina, which pronounced minimal condemnation on the man who took his life in communications to two Kosovo citizens, Florijeta Rugovaj and Lindita Abdullahu. That is not all, this court has decided that the same will be judged in freedom”, the statement said.
The requirements that will be revealed in this protest are reviewing the decision made by Pristina's Constitutional Court, establishing penalties for those who do not respect the rules of communications, and taking cases of citizen damage in communications more seriously.
