The Mi-8 Helicopter of Kazakhstan's Defence Ministry has completely collapsed and burned in the Kyzylorda region.
The circumstances of the crash are being clarified, Kazakhstan's Emergency Commission spokesman Nursultan Nurakhmetov has said.
Kazakhstan's Defence Ministry in a statement has indicated there were 13 people on board.
It is not yet known about the fate of these people, but the chances of salvation are said to be small.
