Court refuses SBASK's suit against August for lost hours.

A few days ago, on March 4th, the United Education Union handed over to the Constitutional Court in Pristina the indictment against Minister of Education, Science and Technology Shyqiri Bytyqi's decision to compensate for hours lost during the strike. Koha Ditore has learned that when the indictment was handed over, it has been required to postpone the execution of Minister Bytyqi's decision, but, the Constitutional Court, today has rejected the request of the SBASK.
SBASK leaders have confirmed that on Monday, they will file complaints with the Court of Appeals about the verdict.
We remember that the entire education system in Kosovo has held a strike for more than three weeks with the demand for salary increases.
The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has come up with the decision that lost hours due to the strike be compensated by holding lessons during spring break, as well as to hold the learning process on Saturdays, but that was not welcomed even by parents.
