Several policemen trying to disperse protesters in the Bulgarian capital of Sofia have ended up with faces and red eyes, as they unwittingly sprayed themselves with tear spray over the weekend.
Videos that have collected thousands of distribution on Twitter show how at least one police officer tries to spray with spray a group of people holding an anti-government protest outside Bulgaria's parliament on Saturday afternoon broadcast Klan Kosova.
Unfortunately for responsible persons, the wind turned off the police, causing them to withdraw.
Many of them can be seen washing their eyes with water in the moments following the incident, broadcasting the Kosovo Clan.
Protesters tried to block the road when they called for early parliamentary elections and respect for democracy.
Bulgarian authorities have claimed no one was seriously hurt during the incident. /I jumped. tv
