The Kosovo Assembly in this session is making the first review of the Bill on Duties, responsibilities and competencies of the State Delegation of the Republic of Kosovo in the process of dialogue with the Republic of Serbia.
Democratic League of Kosovo MP Vjosa Osmani has spoken on behalf of this party's Parliamentary Group, saying that this bill is not constitutional because it does not clearly define the red points of dialogue, not including negotiations for dialogue and the president's role in Brussels.
The bill that you have brought in is never said to negotiate territory, neither the exchange nor the association of Serbian municipalities, the content of the delegation is 11 members and in the parenthesis writes 12, whether it is the president of 12”, Osmani said.
Osmani has also said that this bill gives the president full responsibility to negotiate the country's territory.
We have a bill ahead of us that gives the president full responsibility to fragment the country and paves the way for the territory negotiations to continue without any red lines. The constitution identifies this Assembly as the highest legislative institution and defines the government as the governing institution. All of these are regulated in Article 18 of Kosovo's constitution, this law is non-religious, because it says that every document will be preserved as a state secret, and each of the delegation being put out of any information is condemned according to the law, and that constitutes non-transparent”, it added.
The Law on Salaries was voted in the Assembly earlier, where the salaries of many workers in the public sector increased.
