After tensions, sanctions fight tax, Haradinaj meets with US ambassador

Haradinaj has written on Facebook that the close relationship between Kosovo and America is inconsistent, regardless of the eventual difference in opinions.

Kosovo remains committed to maintaining friendship and always loyal to its strategic ally, the US. At a regular meeting with the US ambassador to Pristina, Philip Costnett, we discussed intensifying joint commitments in empowering Kosovo in all aspects and advancing our country's Euro-Atlantic agenda. Prime Minister Haradinaj has not yet cancelled the decision on the tax on Serbia's products, despite American and European pressure.

Even the US has already started with sanctions against Kosovo, the cause of the tax, where US General's visit to honour the 11th anniversary of Kosovo's Independence has been cancelled.. / P ERISCOPIA
