His basket fills it with products from Kosovo. So Fek Sadiku from Pristina boycotts products of Serbian and Bosnian origin, reports T7.
This also shows why he has decided to consume only local products.
But also that Kosovo has imposed a 100 per cent tax on Serbian and Bosnian products for three months, it does not notice the absence of them at Kosovo stores.
Citizens suspect that these goods are being introduced illegally.
Even former Trade and Industry Minister Ismet Mulaj doubts Serbian products have been introduced illegally.
That, according to Mulayt, could cause trouble to local businesses.
Meanwhile earlier this month, Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj on the “Pressing” show had explained his version of why Serbian products are still in the country, against the tax.
But Kosovo President Hashim Thaci differs.
The head of state says Serbian products are illegally introduced into the country through northern Kosovo.
And what the president said recently confirmed was Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Rasim Ljajic. According to him, Serbian goods are all over Kosovo and that they arrive through alternative routes.
Part of the goods go to Croatia and Macedonia, there they repack and then re-export to Kosovo, Ljajic had said.
And according to Doga data, since the establishment of a tax on Serbian and Bosnian products, products worth nearly 800 thousand euros have been introduced in Kosovo.
