Police provide additional details about apprehending 209kg of drugs at Ferizaj

According to police, through the Directorate for Narcotic Trafficking Investigation, Ferizaj's relevant units and the assistance of quickly-responding units, after a several-month investigation, has carried out a successful police operation that has resulted in the arrest of six suspected persons.
This police operation has been carried out under the ordinance and close co-operation with the Ferizaj Foundation Prosecutor, the Department for Criminal Crimes, as it is the continuation of the investigation that links with a police operation conducted in October 2018. As a result of continuing intensive investigations with 09.02.2019, police control has been carried out at two Ferizaj locations, which has resulted in the arrest of suspected persons, under suspicion that they acted as a criminal group involved in criminal work “Blerja, possession, distribution and unauthorized selling of narcotics, psychotropic substances and analog”. During this police operation, a significant amount of narcotics substance wrapped up in 193 packages has resulted in 209.02kg of”, the Police Community said.
Six suspected J.S. men have been arrested during this police operation. 1990 birth year, B.S. 1978 birth year, G.K. 1991 birth year, as well as three Macedonian Albanians, F.B. 1992 year of birth, J.B. 1997 and F.B. 1994.
In these locations besides the seizure of the narcotic substance, in quality of material evidence, four cars (pass, Wenta, Golf IV and Sharan) have been found and confiscated before having 839 euros and 95 cents, before having 520 Macedonian denarius, before having three US dollars and six mobile phones. Referring to the first police operation carried out in October 2018, where 108 kilograms [108 kg] of 13.3 grams of suspected drug - type narcotics had been confiscated, as well as now the last case where 193 packages were confiscated, in the amount of 209,202kg. The total turns out to be about 317 kilogram”, says the communiqué.
By order of the State Prosecutor, suspected persons have been assigned a 48-hour ban, while investigations into the case are under way.
