LDK chief Isa Mustafa has remained surprised at the EU's request for Trepca to be treated in dialogue with Serbia.
He says that as prime minister, the Law for Trepca was prepared and approved. You also remember the support LDKA deputies recently gave to the Trepca station.
Mustafa says that as work has begun, one day Kosovo will be asked not to breathe without dialogue with Serbia.
Mustafa's complete message, passes Periscope:
Honored Citizens
I was surprised by the EU's request that the Trepca issue be addressed in dialogue with Serbia. Kosovo at no stage has agreed to for Trepca and its natural assets, which are on its territory, dialogue with Serbia. It is an absurd and unacceptable requirement, as it is unacceptable for Serbia to dialogue on the borders and the territory of Kosovo.
In the mandate, when I was the country's prime minister, we prepared and approved the Law on Trepca, saving this country's economic symbol from bankruptcy and privatisation. LDK MPs voted the Trepca station several days ago, which received 2/3 of the votes in the Assembly. This speaks of our unity in the face of the country's vital interests.
We should be together and strongly object on behalf of the comprehensive agreement with Serbia to dialogue the issues of our sovereignty and state integrity. Our citizenship issues! Because, as they have begun, one day they will demand that we not take even a breath without dialogue with Serbia! IM
