Representatives of the Kosovo negotiating team have indicated that it is working for the platform for the final phase of Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Periscopi broadcasts.
The ruling authorities in Kosovo, without the two largest opposition parties, are drafting the platform and adopting the Law for Dialogue, while from the United States and the European Union it becomes clear that continuing dialogue is linked to the suspension of the customs fee that has been imposed on imports from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

One of the chairmans of the negotiating team, Fatmir Limaj, who is also Kosovo's deputy prime minister, told Radio Free Europe that in the next week the work on the platform for talks will be completed and that it will be submitted to the Kosovo Assembly.

“If we cannot unify the political factor in Kosovo, at least we need to unify attitudes and are working hard on drafting and completing the platform for dialogue and I hope that platform present or reflect the common positions of Kosovo's political factor that would send a message and Kosovo eventually have an official position in relation to dialogue with Serbia”, Limaj said.

Limaj said opposition political parties will be invited to contribute to this process and will also be informed of meetings held so far in Brussels and the work done.
The stance of the Republic of Kosovo, or our platform, consists of preserving the sovereignty and integrity of the Republic of Kosovo. The basic documents that have brought Kosovo independence, the independence declaration, the Ahtisaari package, the International Court of Justice ruling and so on. In a word, the entire platform is built in the spirit of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo”, Limaj said.

However, the Kosovo Assembly has managed to establish a negotiator team, consisting of representatives of the ruling political parties, as well as the opposition subject Social Democrat Party. The two largest opposition parties -- the Democratic League of Kosovo and the Vetevendosje Movement -- have refused to be part of this team. /Periscopi
