While Ottawa Deputy Mayor Matthew Luloff has stressed that the Albanian community has made a valuable contribution to Canada.
He has praised the initiative of the Kosovo Embassy and the diaspora community for appointing a street in Canada's capital by the name of “Parasol Kosovo” in honour of the most recent operation by the Canadian government in 1999 to bring about seven thousand refugees from Kosovo during the war to Canada.
