Avichai Mandelbli has announced to Netanyah's lawyers that he will face charges of bribery, fraud and three counts of trust, reports the BBC, Periscopi broadcast.
Netanyahu claims to have accepted gifts from wealthy businessmen and has given media favors to report as positive for him.
Prime Minister Netanyahu has denied such accusations, saying he is the victim of those aiming to bring him down before the April 9th elections.
The prime minister will have a chance of complaint on his charges, and if they are rejected, it will be the first time in Israel's history that a prime minister faces charges of criminal offence.
Opposition parties have said that after these accusations, there is no more reason for Netanyahu to continue holding the prime minister's post. /Periscope.
