Ibarhim Kadriu wins the National Literary Award “Azem Shkreli”

Writer Ibrahim Kadriu is honoured with the National Literary Award for Life View “Anaem Shkreli”.

Kadriu, whose creativity included more than 50 literary works, received the award from Culture Minister Kujtim Gashi, writes Periscopi.

Gashi has also shared the annual Prizes for Literature, under which the Award for Best Work on Prosetics”Anton Pashku” for 2018 was presented to authors Sali Bytyci for the “Gjunes” and Florin Kelmendi for the “Vrasation frame”.

And the award for the best work in poetry “Ali Podriema” was received by writers Srdjan Avdyli for the work “neither angel nor devil” and Chun Lajci for the work “Charre, you good death”.

Meanwhile, the Award for Children and Youth” Vehbi Kikaj” was given author Avdush Canay for the “Smile Plan”.

The award for best work in literary and essayary criticism “Ibrahim Rugova” was given to authors Sali Basota for the best work “Enigma of writing” and Haqif Mulliqi for the “Theatre, drama and cultural identity in Kosovo”, while the award for best work translated in Albanian and <6>Pjeter Bogdan” was divided to author Alfred Beka for the work translated <x>Pezam with the fall of Ik<9>

Minister Gashi has said the support of the Ministry of Culture promotes the growth of real artistic values.

I, as minister, highly appreciate sharing these prices for literature, because I believe that by sharing these prices on regular annual grounds, we also contribute to the stimulus and incentive of the creators to write and enrich the art of our written”, Minister Gashi said. /Periscopi/
