Periscop sources within the prime minister suggest that today, Vetevendosje officials have talked to Prime Minister Haradinaj and that they have told him they would vote the Business Bill in exchange for changing the Law on Financing of political parties.
According to the same sources, Prime Minister Haradinaj has rejected this Vetevendosje offer.
The change of this law would enable Vetevendosje Movement to continue taking the money that actually belongs to MPs who have already left this party.
The Social Democrat Party through changing the Law to fund political parties requires that they receive financial means for the party and their Parliamentary Group from 12 deputies.
Under the current Law, this party is not allowed to receive a budget from the Party Support Fund.
Vetevendosje -- since last year there are 19 deputies, but has received more than 1.1m euros a year -- as much as it would have to receive for 32 deputies.
In this year's draft budget, the amount of 4.2m euros for the Fund for Support of Political Parties, which splits parties, according to the number of seats in the Assembly./ P ERISCOPIA
